mousesports are through to the Extreme Masters European Continental Finals following a default win over HellRaisers. The German giants, who placed second in their group, had been paired with HellRaisers in the relegation stage and would have to beat the Ukrainians to earn a spot in the Continental Finals. However, the match, which was scheduled to take place on Tuesday at 22.00 CET, was not played as HellRaisers were on their way home after participating in Arbalet Cup Europe in Stockholm last weekend. Upon arriving in Ukraine, HellRaisers were informed they had missed the match and contacted the ESL admins and mousesports to know if rescheduling the encounter was possible. Yet mousesports did not agree on moving the match to a new date, and since according to the ESL rules, it is necessary for both teams to agree for a relegation match to be rescheduled, mousesports have registered a default win over HellRaisers. mousesports are now qualified for the Extreme Masters European Continental Finals, which will take place in January. |
